To recap, the recent Google Algorithm Updates for June 2012 involves Google Panda Update version 3.7 and Google Panda Update version 3.8.

Google Panda 3.7 Update

This update was rolled out and officially confirmed by Google via a tweet posted on its Twitter account last June 8th, Friday night.

Just like many of the Panda updates so far this year, this update has affected less than 1% of search queries in the U.S. and about 1% worldwide.

This Google Panda 3.7 Update is the 17th of the series of Panda Updates which has been released since February 24th of last year, with Panda 1.0 being the first but only the 6th for this year 2012, with the Panda 3.2 being rolled out first last January 14th or 15th.

This algorithmic change is the second consecutive update to come on a Friday with minimal overall impact to search queries.

It was on 27th April 2012 that the previous Google Panda update 3.6 was rolled out.

Google Panda 3.8 Update

Two weeks after Google Panda 3.7 Update was released, Google has once again rolled out another data refresh,  Google Panda 3.8 Update.

Rolled out last June 25, Google had officially confirmed its release via a tweet from their official Google account on Twitter. As tweeted, this data refresh is said to noticeably affect only less than 1 percent of queries worldwide.

This is the 18th of Google’s Panda Updates, the 7th for this year and the 2nd Panda update this month.

Overall, according to what search engine optimization experts had noticed, Google seems to have rolled out more Panda updates this year relative to the same period of the previous year. For the half of this year alone, there were already 7 Google Panda Updates thus far.
