September 8, 2010 – Google released “Google Balls Logo”, its latest doodle inspired by colorful balloon design for its home page.
This latest Google Doodle has an interactive balloon design in which the colorful balls can move away and bounce when you pass your mouse over them. Then they move back and form Google Logo once you move away your mouse to them.
Unlike most Google Doodles which reflect birthdays of famous people, historic dates and other important world events, Google Balls Logo doesn’t appear to be symbolizing to any particular event.
Speculations have come out that the design is a teaser for a special “Press Event on Search” tomorrow. Others also believe that it almost coincides with the celebration of Google’s 12th Birthday. And others think that it’s just an exercise in HTML 5, the latest version of the standard programming code for displaying content on the web.
