- Bing has now brought the Web’s combined IQ together with the opinions of the people you trust most, to bring about the “Friend Effect” to search.
- Its search results can now be customized to your Facebook profile according to your friends and even the collective Facebook network.
- It now displays what your Facebook friends “like” across the Web, incorporating in your search result annotations and small thumbnails under any link that your friends has liked.
- It also displays very popular pages according to global Facebook ‘Like’ data and anonymous messages from Facebook users on the Bing results under those results.
- Bing has also made it easier to go to Facebook after seeing a search result and to have a “conversation” regarding that search query. This has been done by expanding the Facebook Profile Search, for instance, within Travel Wish List; it is showing Friends who live there and making it easier to share results on Facebook.
- Bing has also integrated Facebook Page in its search result. If the “likes” from your friends are not found in the search result but has a presence on Facebook, its Facebook status updates may appear in search results.
