Recently, another step forward has been made by Google enabling its user to get even more information from the people that matters to them such as their friend’s activity on Twitter and Flicker, published videos on You tube and other participation on social network sites. Find out below what’s new on Google Social Search Results
Regular Results are Blended with Social Search Results
Users will start seeing more from people like colleagues and friends with annotation below the results they have shared or created as social search results will now be mixed throughout your results based on its relevance. One good example is that if you think about climbing to Mt. Kilimanjaro and you’re connected to Matt Cutts that has written a blog post about “climbing kilimanjaro” , then you can see his post on the search results.

Social Search Displays Share Content
Google Users can now also expect a more comprehensive Social Search by adding additional notes for links people have shared on Twitter and other social network sites. From showing the results people created and linking them through their Google profiles, now you can connect publicly through sharing a link with a clear annotation which is restricted as you can only see it but not your visitors. One good example is if you are looking for a certain video of an SEO Company on You Tube and your friend tweeted that video, it is possible that it’s much higher in your results and you will see a note with a picture of your friend.
New Private Option Added for Connecting Accounts
Google has given its users more control over how they connect accounts and made it more convenient. It is still possible for you to connect accounts publicly on your Google profile but now a new option to connect accounts privately has been added. Now, Google can find a public account that might be yours due to similar usernames and the system will invite you to connect you accounts right on the search results page and in your Google Account Settings.

Google also is starting to roll out the updates in English only and this will visible in these coming weeks These changes want to help you find the most relevant information possible that are personalized to your interests and the people you care about.
