A good place to find and read useful SEO Articles and most up-to-date SEO News

Squarespace for Ipad has been released. It is the very first version of iPad application. It is a free app that allows Squarespace’s registered member moderate comments, view site statistics of their created or edited blog posts and manage multiple accounts. Just like Squarespace’s excellent iPhone app, this app for iPad has some interesting features especially on blogging tools.

Similar to TypePad, Blogger or WordPress, Squarespace is also a hosted website platform that provides the hosting and the backend software. This app enables users to edit and modify their page, blog or portfolio. This app do the heavy lifting of your blog site.

The iPad app is a mixed of iPhone app and the overall design of the Squarespace.com interface. It is a very attractive and interesting app as users can sign into their accounts directly and create new account from the login page. Squarespace is not a free hosting website but it usually gives the system 14 days trial to see how the user will like it.

Users are given with options to switch between posts and comments once logged in. User also have the option on the comments to marked as read, marked as spam, approved or unapproved. Sending an email and making comment replies to a commenter are also possible on this application.

Site statistics is also one of its very useful features. User can check stats like unique visitors, RSS subscribers, search items that direct to a post, number of page views, referrals and more. It is displayed similar to Shaun Inman’s Mint analytic services.

There is also an option to edit in this iPad app. Unlike any other publishing clients, Squarespace allows users to edit the posted entries. In this app, users can insert links, make things bold or italicized and so forth. Since Squarespace supports HTML, Markdown or Textile, editors also have the option to apply styles to selected text. Preview of the entry can also be seen once modifications have been applied.

WordPress and other hosting websites might want to take some notes on how to elegantly get around Apple’s WYSIWYG limitations that surely provide satisfaction to users of this app.
